{ Mark & Teena } |engaged|

Slowly but surely...  I keep telling myself that eventually my little business will pick back up again. That with every session I book in this area, more and more people will know that I am here.  With that said, do I really need to tell you how happy it made me that Teena liked my work enough to even ask me about my packages?  When she decided to book her engagement session with me the same week, I was simply on cloud nine!

I met Teena and Mark for the first time on the morning of their session and I knew right away that they were an easy going couple.  To say that this session wound up being fun would be the understatement of the year.  We had an absolute blast and their portraits will stand out in my mind forever!  Add a fun loving couple together with  a perfect fall day and beautiful light and you have an istant recipe for photographic success.

The chemistry that these two share for each other is the kind that makes you want to go home and snuggle up to your own love.  They just radiate happiness!  To make it even better, they both have a wonderful sense of humor and were able to cut back and relax in front of the camera as if I weren't even there.  It's honestly really nice when I have a natural repoire with my Clients and can show them a little bit of my fun side without them thinking I'm completely off my rocker.  That just makes the most wonderful memories and not to mention portraits!  It means that I am getting to capture something real and beautiful and that in those moments, I was able to document every emotion.   Towards the end of the session Mark actually gave me the compliment of my photographic life.  He told me I was funny and that they really enjoyed their session with me, and that their experience with me was in my own words,"different" that what they had experienced in the past.  That just totally made my year and encourages me to keep trying to build and establish myself!

Mark & Teena, I have absolutely no doubts that you two have a lifetime of love and happiness ahead of you!  Thank you both, from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with your memories at this exciting time in your life.  I am truly honored!  I wish you all the best!  I hope you enjoy your preview, your gallery won't be too terribly far behind.

{ the David's } |family|

As most of my fans know, we recently moved from the DFW area to Pampa, TX.  Rebuilding my clientele here has proven to be a tedious task and therefore I truly appreciate every session that I book here.  My hope is that each of these Client's will love their portraits enough to spread the word and help me get my little business back on its feet.

The David family was recommended to me by a mutual friend, and this is exactly the kind of word of mouth that I am relying on!  You are about to meet one precious family with a fantastic sense of style! I absolutely love the outfits they chose. While these photos clearly say "Fall is Here," it actually warmed up a but faster than expected that morning and I found myself a bit overdressed for the weather.  Oh well, the colors are amazing and totally made up for my own fashion faux pas.

Bandi, I hope you love your sneak peek! You have a beautiful family and your girls are just adorable!  I hope to work with you again someday! Your gallery will be uploading soon.

{ the Thomas's } |family|

I have had the priviledge of knowing Joseph Thomas and his family for many, many years.  In fact, we grew up rodeoing together, easily a couple hundred rodeos a year since we were say, 10?  His family may as well have been my own extended family.  As many of us rodeo kids know, when you screw up, all 20+ of your rodeo mom's have the expressed permission of your parents to come down on you hard. (Not that I ever needed it, but all the more reason to toe the line!) Anyway, his momma was a prominent figure throughout my childhood and is such a wonderful woman!  I've only had the pleasure of knowing Joseph's beautiful wife Jacqueline for a couple of years but man do I really like that lady!  She's honest, down to earth, and just a genuinely sweet person!  She trusted me with her youngest daughter Paislee's newborn portraits not too very long ago, and I am so honored to have had this opportunity to capture them as a family! Their oldest daughter Abigail, is just a beautiful young lady and a wonderful big sister!  I can tell she just loves her little sister to pieces!

We did have to reschedule once for a lil' old thunderstorm that decided to sit on top of our general area come time for the original session, but God provided us with a beautiful morning the next day and we were able to make it happen!  This family session was admittedly, a bit unusual for me.  Typically, babies of any age will really make a photographer work for that ever elusive smile when they are in a family setting.  Its generally not a problem in individual baby portraits because the little one is looking directly at mom and dad who can continuously make faces and smile at them, but in family sessions, the goal is to occassionally have everyone looking at the camera at the same time.  Now, as a photographer, I do keep a few tricks up my sleeves but still, with any child session, I expect to have worked myself into a sweat by the time we are done. Little Miss Paislee however, just smiled and laughed away the whole time.  I honestly didn't know what to do with myself.  Big scary camera, no problem for her at all!   Thank you guys so much for allowing me to capture your memories!  It was truly great to see all of you again and I hope you love what you are about to see!  You can click on a photo to view it enlarged.

{Abby & Noel} |romance|

I've been fortunate enough to call the beautiful Miss Abby B. my friend for many years now.  She's not only gorgeous, and a very talented singer, but she is also an incredibly intelligent, hard working, and caring young woman as well.  When she asked me to capture her with her love (the handsome Mr. Noel T.) I could have squealed with joy!!  After the excitement started to wear down enough for me to focus, the ideas for this shoot began to flow!  She wanted Vintage. Done... A quick "shopping spree" to her mom's house and we were set for that portion.  But, I had another idea for this session.  One that I figured would be best to "test the waters" with someone I knew well.  And who better to make my vision come to life than my sweet friend!  I'd be lying if I said there was no bribery involved in asking my friend go swimming in the lake for the sake of a portrait, however, the promise of "it will be worth it" paid off big time!  Abby, I love to see the happiness that you and Noel share!  Your obvious joy with each other is infectious and I wish for that happiness to last you both a lifetime!  Noel, it was a pleasure to meet you! Thank you for being so completely nonchalant about our scheming!  Please continue to take great care of my wonderful friend!{Abby & Noel} |romance|
