December 1, 2012 marked the wedding day of one very sweet ADP bride, Melissa. I enjoyed every moment of capturing her and new hubby, Rob's beautiful ceremony and receptions, but that is a post for another day! Today is just about her! We actually managed to capture both the engagement and bridal portraits on the same weekend, which worked out wonderfully for me since I was travelling from Pampa to Ft. Worth to take them. The weather was beautiful but also much colder than it had been for their engagement portraits the day before. Melissa was such a trooper! She never complained even though I knew she must be getting quite cold, especially since I was having a hard time coaxing my fingers into position on my camera.
Her elegant wedding dress is the perfect compliment to her classical features and I can't help but think that the long lace sleeves are perhaps my favorite detail on her winter wedding gown. Top it off with her grandmother's dainty pearl drop necklace and earrings, the ethereal lace edged veil and handmade with love silk boquet, and you find a perfect recipe for bridal beauty. She is still radiating the inner peace and joy that her fiance Rob brought out in her just the day before and I find only the need to click the shutter to capture that essence.
