{ Tori } | 13 in 2013! |

Hi friends!

Man, I've been falling behind on my blog lately! There have been so many amazing things happening and I'm excited to share one of my most recent shoots with you today!  I'm going to have to play catch up the next few weeks and blog a few other of my recent sessions!

I was contacted by a lady several weeks ago who had heard of me through a mutual friend, (YAY for referrals!!).  She was interested in booking a custom portrait session for her 13 year old granddaughter to help celebrate and commemorate this incredible milestone in her young life.  As a photographer, please let me say that it is SO rewarding to witness families realizing the importance of capturing all of these "little" moments in a big way!  For my dear Client's to trust me with their precious memories and allow me to join in on their celebration is even more rewarding still!

Miss Tori is 13 this year!  Thirteen in 2013, how cool is that?!   She is truly a gorgeous young lady inside and out.  She has a love for drama and acting, and has been a part of several school drama productions.  She is also a very talented singer, which I got to witness first hand!  She is a Texas Longhorns fan and also loves going to the shooting range with her dad.   I might add that this session also took place on Father's Day, so of course we had to add Dad in a photo too!  I was able to spend 3 hours with her and her fabulous grandmother and we laughed for the majority of that time! Tori chose several outfits and themes to help encompass all of her interests, and we combined studio work and my trademark outdoor natural light photography into her collection to fit the needs of this incredible session.  The gorgeous piano and rock wall are actually in the families living room!

{ Melissa & Rob } |engaged|

I had the priviledge of spending the first weekend of October with a very sweet couple, Melissa & Rob.  I was recommended to Melissa by her cousin Amanda, who happens to be a long time friend of mine! I actually got to spend two days out of my extended photo weekend with Melissa and Amanda, who came along to help out!  Amanda, thanks a million for all of your hard work!  We spent our first evening together on this fantastic engagement session, our second session was for her Bridal Portraits and I cant wait for their wedding so I can share some of those with you!

Back to the engagements; the weather was warm, the light was gorgeous and the location, well just see for yourself!  We made our way out the the Seminary College in Fort Worth and I was just blown away by the scenery!  As I found out from Melissa, she and her soon to be husband met at Cana Baptist Church, where they will be getting married on December 1st, 2012.  Actually, Rob's mom set them up and schemed with Melissa's mom to have them both at church on the same day.  I guess thats proof positive that sometimes mom really does know best! At least in this case it worked out perfectly for them!  Congratulations Melissa & Rob, I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!  I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you both! Thank you for allowing me the honor of capturing your memories!  I can't wait to be there for your wedding day!
